Terms of Service

Last updated: June 20, 2026

Welcome to Appaloo. These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Appaloo Labs ("Appaloo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. We have tried to keep things short and readable.

1. The service

Appaloo is a flat-rate ad exchange for app and game developers. You serve other members' ads inside your apps, and in exchange your own ads are shown across the network. We provide the dashboard, SDKs, and the ad-serving infrastructure that makes this trade work.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Appaloo, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your login credentials secure and let us know promptly if you suspect any unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into this agreement.

3. Acceptable use

We want the exchange to stay fair for everyone, so a few things are not allowed:

  • Generating fake, automated, incentivized, or otherwise invalid ad impressions, clicks, or installs.
  • Gaming, manipulating, or reverse-engineering the ranking, manifest, or reward systems to win extra ad placements or reach you have not earned.
  • Tampering with our SDKs, tokens, or APIs, or trying to bypass rate limits, quotas, or plan limits.
  • Uploading ads or content that are illegal, deceptive, malicious, infringing, or otherwise harmful.
  • Abusing, overloading, or attempting to disrupt the service or other members.

4. Your ads and content

You are responsible for the ads, creatives, links, and app metadata you upload, and you confirm you have the rights to use them. You grant Appaloo the limited license needed to host, display, and distribute your ads across the network in order to run the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

5. Plans, billing, and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider. Free trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time, and your plan reverts to Free at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Suspension and denial of service

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to any account at our discretion, including (with no obligation to give notice) where we reasonably believe someone is attempting to game the platform for extra ad placements, generate invalid traffic, or otherwise abuse the service. Where reasonable we will try to give notice, but to protect the exchange we may act first. You can also stop using Appaloo and close your account at any time.

7. Disclaimers

Appaloo is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee any particular level of ad reach, impressions, installs, uptime, or results. We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appaloo Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Appaloo after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
