Keep your ad revenue. Grow your audience.
AdMob and your other ad networks can keep doing what they do. Add Appaloo alongside them, and put a share of your ad placements to work bringing new users to your app.
A small share.
A different return.
You already have attention inside your app. Most of it can keep earning revenue. Some of it can earn exposure for your app across the Appaloo network, reducing how much you need to spend buying new users.
- 01
Keep what pays.
Keep your existing ad SDK, placements and monetization setup. Appaloo gives you another way to use your inventory.
- 02
Make a little room.
Add the Appaloo SDK. Choose one placement or a small share of ad opportunities in your app. No need to add another ad break.
- 03
Follow the results.
Compare the users you acquire with the revenue those placements could have earned. Adjust your split as you learn what works.
An impression can be worth more than its payout.
With paid user acquisition, you pay cash to bring someone in. With Appaloo, the ads you show earn exposure for your own app. The trade is worthwhile when that growth costs less than buying comparable users.
Start with your own numbers. How many installs would cover the revenue you put to work?
A few things before you start.
Do I have to remove AdMob or my existing ad network?
No. Keep your existing SDK and add Appaloo alongside it. Your app chooses which SDK to call for each placement or ad opportunity. You can start with one placement or a small share of eligible ad opportunities.
Is Appaloo an AdMob mediation adapter?
No. Appaloo provides its own Android and iOS SDKs. You control the split in your app; Appaloo does not automatically join your mediation waterfall or bidding setup. Keep your existing network integration for the placements you want to monetize.
Will I lose ad revenue?
An Appaloo impression earns exposure for your app, not a cash payout. If it replaces a paid impression, there is revenue you could have earned instead. The aim is for the value of the users you acquire to exceed that trade-off and any plan fee. Start small and measure both sides.
How much cheaper is it than paid user acquisition?
There is no universal savings rate. It depends on your ad revenue, the users Appaloo brings you and what comparable users cost through paid campaigns. The calculator gives you a break-even target using your own inputs. Compare retention and user value as well as install counts.
Can I change the split later?
Yes. Your app controls when it requests an Appaloo ad. Adjust that logic as you learn, or pause Appaloo placements while keeping your existing ads. Appaloo has a Free plan and optional paid plans with flat subscription fees, with no charge per click, impression or install.
Using an AdMob mediation waterfall? Google documents custom events separately. This page describes choosing placements in your own app.
Keep earning.
Give growth a little room.
Start with one app and a placement you choose. Let the results earn Appaloo a bigger share.
